Kentucky Kingdom and the storm Bay
A 60-acre park was first opened in 1987 and reopened last year after a four-year hiatus. This year the Kentucky Kingdom rolls out what was billed as the "next generation of fear," T3-terror. Other coasters include Thunder run (10-story steel coaster) and Thunder run (classic wooden coaster). There is also an area for kids and live music.
Hurricane Bay offers two wave pools, water slides and more than a dozen, River adventure, a lazy river and daily shows featuring children rescued sea lions.
Holiday World & Splashin ' Safari
This year an additional $22 million Thunderbird, steel roller coaster that features a recently launched a zero-to-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, followed by some inversions, including a 14th floor Immelmann loop, the largest single investment trip to the Park.
Water features are the 10-story enclosed slides, Kima Bay water play area and the falls slide complex Hyena includes four water slides in-the-dark, a 350 feet long and five stories high.
